About Milutin Milankovitch
Milutin was born in the away-Slavonia 1879th in a wealthy family whose offspring had higher education, among them his grandfather Uroš Milanković, significant philosopher. Milutin finished secondary school in Osijek as a student generation. He then moved to Vienna where he graduated in civil engineering techniques 1902nd year, and only two years later his doctorate.
Milankovic by profession, was: builder, astronomer, mathematician, geophysicist, but above all, the founder of modern climatology and climate modeling. Working on the problem of the influence of astronomical factors on climate during the geological history of the country, Milankovic the exact way to explain the periodization of origin, development and retreat of glacial phases during the past 600,000 years. Applying the mathematical apparatus and using previous knowledge: Ademar, Krol, Leverijea, Milanković proved that precezija, the change of inclination axis of rotation and eccentric orbits of the Earth around the Sun dugoperiodični dominant factors to climate change in the geologic past.
